36 Days left!

Ok Ok, i know i keep going on about it but....I'm excited! 36 days left to go or 29 if your going by my dates :O)

My tummy is getting really big now, here is a photo especially for Vanda!

Max has started to get used to the idea of having a new 'smelly' baby sister, here he is giving my tummy a kiss. If you ask him what his sisters name is he says Emily. He made Nik and me laugh last night when the baby started kicking and Max had a feel of my tummy. He put his head to my tummy and shouted...'Sit still, Emily!' Then we asked him who was in my tummy and he said...'My Enemy!' instead of Emily and Nik as quick as ever said...'Yes, she probably will be!'

We have been so busy in the house over the last few weeks. We now have all the stairs and landing ready for the carpet which is coming at the beginning of next week. All the doors have been glossed, windowsills have been fitted and we've even planted some vegetable and sprinkled some grass seed! Nik has also bought himself a new toy to help him dig the trenches for the 3 phase electricity cables, so he's now a happy chappy.

The sun came out today and i thought it was about time we went and spent Max's birthday money. So off we went to The Early Learning Centre and bought him the sand/water play table that he's been asking for. Here he is playing in the glorious sunshine, it kept him entertained for hours.

While we were in the ELC i saw some pink letters and just had to buy them for our new baby's bedroom door. They'll look fab next to the ones we have for Max. I hope she looks like an Emily when shes born now we've bought them!

Oh, and the purple and blue and stripy thing at the bottom of the photo is my baby bump, it was too big to keep out of the shot LOL

While we were in town we had a look round for a stairs carpet. We went to 4 different shops and then went back to the first one we went into to buy one. Its being fitted next week! How exciting is that, finally the house will be nearly finished (except for a few bits in the kitchen and the extension) WooooHoooo!!

I had another 4D scan last Sunday and this time Emily decided to pose! Here she is.....

The dvd is fantastic, especially when she yawns. It was worth every penny :O)

I have also been shopping at Ikea and bought a new changing unit, its great because it folds flat and matches our living room LOL

and Jake has done his 2 week work experience placement at Karissma hairdressing salon and has now got himself a Saturday job there.

Thats about all we've been up to recently recently, Oh did i mention i have 44 days left till i get to hold my new baby? LOL Sorry if i'm a bit of a baby bore ;O)

Meet Our Daughter!

I have 7 weeks and 6 days left until Our daughter is due!!!

Today we went to have a 4D scan done! The baby was really naughty and wouldn't turn to face the camera and no amount of poking my tummy would wake her up to move position. All we managed to get were photos of her with her hands over her face. The lovely lady and man that run Window To The Womb gave me a dvd of all the footage and a cd of all the still shots and an A4 print out of the best shot. I also have a free appointment to go back next Sunday for another scan, were hopefully the baby with be in a different position and be more photogenic and hopefully awake :O) I don't mind cos at least i get to go back and see her again LOL and i'll get another cd, dvd and 4 printouts too!
